I would like to inform you our internet shop with download music is already open. At the moment there are available three of our last recordings, with our very last album with Rob Brown Live at SJC. Collection of the music will be regularly enlarge and I can promise there will be a lot of interesting promotions such as unpublished recordings or music from our concerts..

to germany..

Next few days I will be performing and rehearsing in Germany. With our group Oles DUO we will play one festival in Greifswald (20.11) and one concert in A-Trane club in Berlin. After that we will be rehearsing with our Polish-German trio with Theo Jorgensamann. We are preparing music for our next studio album which we’re going to record at the beginning of the next year. It will be the fifth album of that trio and the third recorded in the studio. Last one titled ALCHEMIA was edited in 2008 by HatHat Records’ hatOLOGY. The details you can find here.

At the end of the year (exactly when we will back from Germany;) we will be composing and recording music for short animatic movie titled “Ritual” by Zbigniew Czapla. I hope I can publish on my website some trialer af this short artistc film. All pictures are made in classical gouache technique what makes it very original and awesome.

By the end of this year it will start downloading serwis from our website. We have decided to share our officially edited music and interesting unpublished compositions such as concerts, motion picture and theater music.

New album!!

Today is a premiere of new album with my contribution. Trio with alto saxophonist Rob Brown (thanks Rob!!) and my brother Bartlomiej Brat Oles was recorded last year during our short tour in Poland. Album was released by record label Fenommedia and includes original music of me and my brother. Album was edited within Live Series of the Fenommedia label.

November 6th will take a place a concert of Oles DUO at the ZAK Festival. We will play compositions from our album Oles Duo which was released last year.
At the end of November DUO will be performing in two cities in Germany (details soon..)

As a Oles Duo we are working on music for our new album which we are going to record at the beginning of the next year.
We would like to record as well new album with our trio with our friend, German clarinetist Theo Jorgensmann. We have prepared completely new compositions and we hope we can present this music next year.

New season..

I hope the new season will bring all of us many exciting and great expiences, concerts and music. From this sezon you can order my music as mp3 files to your iPod directly from my website. The servis will start at beginning of October and I will let you know when this possibility will be available. I decided as well to publish my music scores for international selling and this possibility will be available in close future.

    Last year in October took place short tour with alto saxophonist Rob Brown who is well known for his colaboration with William Parker, or Matthew Ship, or his own recordings and groups. The trio called Oles Brothers w/ Rob Brown played in few Polish cities such as Poznan, Cracow and Gliwice. Some of our concerts were recorded and it will be published soon by our label Fenommedia. CD album titled Live at SJC will be released before Christmas and it brings mostly my brother compositions.     I hope that this album brings exiting music and many of you will enjoy to listen it!

    Our trio with German clarinetist Theo Jorgensmann which actually existed since 2003 (last recording titled Alchemia came out at HatHut Records) is still playing and after necessary break we decided to record new music. Completely new compositions which we had possibility to play at several festivals as in Berlin or Brugge and new sound of that trio will bring virtuosic and energetic improvised music. New website’s design

This is the new edition of my website. It widly presents not only my artistic work, but also my varied interests as well. Additionally, provided multimedia tools will help you to familirize yourself with my music.

Because my work is in constant evolution, as apart from performing I compose music for films and theatre, I wanted my calendar [Agenda] to reflect all the projects that I am involved in. Therefore, the calendar includes infos about tours, concerts and my plans for the future as well as the compositions that I will be working on.

What is more, I plan to provide a special tool to make on-line sale of music files available. I am still working on it and I hope to make it possible very soon. It is very important for me to give you the opportunity to listen and buy my music. I am aware that in some countries my albums are unavailable, that is why I decided to make things easier for all those who are interested in my work.

I will try to regularly update the website. It is very important for me to stay in touch with those who appreciate my music and share my interests.

This website is still in development process but I hope to finalize it very soon, so that you can get to know me better.
